Supreme Batteries, a division of Supreme Technologies Inc. (STI, Waleska, GA), opened its first fully integrated battery pack manufacture and evaluation facility in ShenZhen, China. The facility will operate as a center for research and development; qualification; and safety testing of battery cells, battery packs, chargers and other power components.
The 10,000ft² factory is equipped with spot welding equipment from the US and advanced testing instruments such as environmental chambers, cycling machines and impedance meters. The location in China strengthens the company's market leading position through better product sourcing, and leads to a reduction in product development time and product overall manufacturing cost while maintaining the highest quality standard from essence of ISO9000.
