SatCon Receives Military/Aerospace Orders

SatCon Technology Corp. (Cambridge, MA) reported that its electronics division has received $1.0 million in new military/aerospace orders. SatCon Electronics received the orders from major aerospace customers for high-reliability assemblies used in satellite uplinks, avionics and other defense applications.

"SatCon Electronics has always been a reliable supplier to the defense industry and we consider this to be a growth opportunity considering our expanded capabilities and product offerings," said SatCon President and CEO David Eisenhaure. "We have also changed the name of our Semiconductor Products division to SatCon Electronics to better reflect the broader market to which we offer our products."
