Palcan Power Systems Inc. (Burnaby, BC) has officially opened its new manufacturing facility in China, which enables Palcan to produce a low-cost supply chain for China, and opens up significant opportunities for both further funding from the Chinese government and
participation in the many fuel cell programs that are in various planning stages throughout China.
Palcan expects to begin manufacturing its fuel cell stacks and power modules for the global hydrogen power market in March 2005. The Chinese government has granted Palcan's wholly owned manufacturing facility with tax incentives and other initiatives that are beneficial to securing a labor force.
