Neuron Intros SR-500 and SR-700 DC/DC Converters

Neuron Electronics Co. Ltd. (Hong Kong) introduced the new SR-500 and SR-700 step-up dc/dc voltage converters, which are designed for employment in A/V equipment requiring voltage regulation.
The switch-mode units accept input voltages from 10Vdc to 14Vdc and deliver 13.8Vdc. They operate at a 25kHz switching frequency. The converters exhibit 0.5-percent line regulation and one-percent line regulation. The output-ripple noise is rated at 50mVrms.
The two devices differ in product size and output power. The SR-500 provides a 500W peak of output power. It measures 200mm x 170mm x 70mm. The SR-700 has a 700W peak of output power and measures 200mm x 205mm x 70mm.
