NCPA Seeks Renewable Power Supply Proposals

The Northern California Power Agency (NCPA, Roseville, CA) released a request for proposals seeking renewable electric power supply resources to help meet the expected long-term needs of its members. Based upon the types of proposals received, NCPA could accept a total installed capacity of 30MW to 85MW in 2005 and beyond.

NCPA will accept long-term contracts or equity position proposals for renewable electric power supplies, including biomass, municipal solid waste, waste tire, waste gasification, solar (thermal and (photovoltaic), wind, geothermal, small hydro, digester or landfill gas. The response deadline is April 11, 2003, at 5:00 p.m.
