Nanjing Offers LGCF and LGCC Series Inductors

September 30, 2001 by Jeff Shepard

Nanjing No. 11 Radio Fty. (China) announced the LGCF and LGCC Series of chip inductors, which are specifically designed for HF applications. The devices are made of alternating layers of ferrite paste and conductor paste. They provide a closed magnetic circuit and good electromagnetic characteristics.

With their compact size and monolithic construction, the inductors are suitable for high-density assembly, and exhibit high-Q factor, tight inductance tolerance and high reliability. They are suitable for many applications, including mobile phones, pagers, computer peripherals and communication devices. They offer good solderability, making them suitable for both wave and reflow soldering.

The LGCF devices feature inductance values ranging from 47nH to 100µH, while the LGCC inductors have inductance values of 1.5nH to 0.47µH. The Q factor is >8 and dc resistance ranges from 0.1 ohm to 4 ohms. The chip inductors come with dimensions ranging from 1.6mm x 0.8mm x 0.8mm to 3.2mm x 1.6mm x 1.1mm.
