Motech Ind. Inc. (Taiwan) introduced the new MHC125E multi-crystalline, silicon, solar cell, which has a conversion efficiency of up to 13.49 percent and is rated at 2.03W to 2.11W. The 125mm x 125mm x 0.31mm device has a blue, silicon nitride, anti-reflection coating; 2mm silver contacts; and 5mm silver, aluminum, back-contact pads.
Other specifications include a maximum power current of 4.23A to 4.4A and a voltage of 0.48V. Short-circuit current and open-circuit voltage is placed at 4.73A and 0.61V, respectively.
