Microsemi Establishes Two New Design Centers

Microsemi Corp. (Santa Ana, CA) announced they are establishing two new design centers - one in San Jose, and one in San Diego - to support development of analog and mixed signal integrated circuits that it plans to manufacture at its recently acquired Linfinity Division.Microsemi said the San Jose design center will focus on portable electronics components for such applications as mobile phones, PDA's and portable computing. The San Diego center will concentrate on medical electronics products, including pacemakers, defibrillators and hearing aids.
