Microchip Technology Releases MCP1525 and MCP1541 Precision Voltage References

Microchip Technology Inc. (Chandler, AZ) has introduced two precision voltage references that are capable of sourcing up to 2mA of load current while operating at 100µA. According to the company, the devices are ideal for use in cellular phones, precision power supplies and instrumentation.
The 2.5V MCP1525 and 4.096V MCP1541 feature an initial accuracy of +/-1 percent. Both devices are available in three-pin SOT-23 and TO-92 packages under a pricing structure that starts at $0.70 each in 1,000-unit quantities.
