Micro Electronics Intros TDA2030/TDA2003 PA ICs

Hongguang Micro Electronics Co. Ltd. (China) announced that the TDA2030 and TDA2003 power amplifier (PA) ICs feature short-circuit and overheat protection and are suitable for use in car audio systems. The 18W TDA2003 is a Class B amplifier that delivers an output of up to 3.5A, has low harmonic and crossover distortion, and operates from a supply voltage of 18V.

The 10W TDA2030 also delivers 3.5A of output current and additionally features a thermal shutdown system, is rated for operation over the -20 to +70 degrees C temperature range, and functions from a ±22V supply.
