Micrel Presents New MIC918 and MIC919 Op Amps

July 25, 1999 by Jeff Shepard

Micrel Semiconductor Inc. (San Jose, CA) announced its new MIC918 and MIC919 op amps that operate at high speeds while consuming low power. Both are voltage-feedback, unity-gain stable devices and are housed in SC70-5 packages.

The op amps achieve a slew-rate of 1.5kV/µs while drawing only 550µA and 360µA, respectively. The MIC918 has a gain-bandwidth product of 51MHz, and the MIC919 has a gain-bandwidth product of 27MHz.

The devices have a 60-degree phase margin at unity gain, which increases with load capacitance. They are specified for supply voltages of ±5V and ±9V. PSRR is 104dB for the MIC918 and 105dB for the MIC919; CMRR is 91dB and 87dB; and AVOL is 93dB and 92dB, respectively.
