MGE UPS Systems Inc. (Costa Mesa, CA) launched its latest UPS, the Pulsar Esprit. A 1.4kVA UPS, the Pulsar Esprit with external battery modules can back up as many as two network servers for over 10 hours.
The Pulsar Esprit 1.4kVA model features true redundancy. It has infinitely expandable battery options and a suite of Internet-grade monitoring and communications features, including Windows 2000 integration and XML web-based management. Users have a choice of a 5U rack-mount or free-standing configuration. The module offers standard 120Vac output at all power levels while accepting 120V input up to 4.5kVA.
The new Pulsar Esprit is priced starting at $1,584 in a single UPS configuration with one battery module. The series is UL-1778 and cUL approved.
