Mean Well Ent. Co. Ltd. (Taiwan) launched its module dc-dc converters that feature an I/O isolation rating of 1 kVdc, and offer short-circuit and overload protection. The SDM30 has a built-in remote on/off control and cools by free-air convection.
The epoxy-encapsulated device offers regulated, unregulated, single and dual output. The single-output models have a dc input ranging between 5 V to 48 V, and a dc output of 5 V to 15 V. Dual-output converters have a dc input ranging from 9 V to 18 V, to 36 V to 72 V, while the output is offered at ±5 V, ±9 V, ±12 V or ±15 V.
