Maxim Presents MAX4434/35/36/37 Op Amps

December 10, 2001 by Jeff Shepard

Maxim Integrated Products Inc. (Sunnyvale, CA) introduced the new MAX4434/35/36/37 single-supply, ultra-low distortion, fast-settling, 180MHz op amps in a five-pin SOT23, featuring low -98dBc SFDR at 1MHz, a fast 35ns (±0.0015 percent) settling time and high 116dB open-loop gain.

The op amps operate from a single 2.7V to 5.5V supply, and are equipped with rail-to-rail outputs and ground-sensing inputs that facilitate driving single-supply 14- and 16-bit ADCs.

The MAX4434/36 single/dual amplifiers are unity-gain stable and have a 28MHz large-signal bandwidth and a 113V/µs slew rate. They exhibit ultra-low 2.2nV/sqrtHz noise-voltage density at 100kHz. The MAX4435/37 single/dual amplifiers are compensated for closed-loop gains of 5V/V (minimum) and have a 26MHz, -3dB bandwidth and a 388V/µs slew rate.

The amplifiers are offered in five-pin SOT23 and eight-pin SO housings; the dual amplifiers come in eight-pin MAX and SO packages. Pricing starts at $2.25 in quantities of 1,000.
