Maxim Integrated Products Announces MAX1864/MAX1865

Maxim Integrated Products (Sunnyvale, CA) announced the new MAX1864/MAX1865 power-supply controllers. Operating off an unregulated dc supply, the MAX1864 generates three positive outputs, while the MAX1865 generates four positive outputs and one negative output.
Features of the new products include an input voltage range of 4.5V to 28V. They have a fixed-frequency 100kHz/200kHz PWM controller, no current-sense resistor and an adjustable current limit. Maxim claims that they are 95-percent accurate.
