Matsushita Electronic Components Co. Ltd. (Japan) announced the new V-FK Series of surface-mount aluminum-electrolytic capacitors that exhibit what is claimed to be the lowest impedance value in the industry.
The devices were developed in response to the demand for improved noise-absorption performance, capacitance and reliability. Target applications include advanced PCs and communications equipment.
Impedance ranges from 80 milliohms for the 10(ø) x 10.2(L)mm model, up to 1.35 ohms for the 4(ø) x 5.8(L)mm version. The operating voltage ranges from 6.3Vdc to 35Vdc. The capacitors exhibit capacitance values of 4.7µF to 1.5mF. They last 2,000h at 105 degrees C.
