Matsushita Debuts XC Series Electrolytic Capacitors

Matsushita Electronic Components Co. Ltd. (Japan) announced its new XC Series of screw-terminal, aluminum-electrolytic capacitors, which last 5,000h (105 degrees C) and feature a ripple current of 12Arms to 17Arms (10kHz), making the capacitors suitable for use in 42V automotive systems.
The devices are available in sizes ranging from 35(ø)mm x 42mm to 35(ø)mm x 65mm with capacitance values between 1.2mF to 2mF. They also have a voltage rating of 100Vdc. Pricing is about $8.34 each.
