Martek Introduces Two New 2W RoHS Compliant DC-DC Converters

Martek Power announced 2 new series of compact dc-dc power converters. The 200VFI and 200WFRS series are specially designed to address the application needs for data communication equipment, mobile battery driven equipment, distributed power systems, telecommunications equipment, mixed analog/digital subsystems, process/machine control equipment, computer peripheral systems and industrial robot systems.

The 200VFI series is a family of 2W single and dual output dc-dc converters with 18 models that operate from input bus voltages of 5, 12 and 24V; producing output voltage levels of 5, 12, 15, ±5, ±12 and ±15V. Measuring 1.25 x 0.8 x 0.4", the models feature short circuit protection, 4000Vac input/output isolation and built-in PI filter. The 200VFIs are priced at $11.75 per unit for volume orders.

Also new are the 200WFS series of cost-effective 2W single and dual output dc-dc converters in an ultra-miniature "gull-wing" SMT package. 13 models operate from input bus voltages of 5, 12 and 24V; producing output voltage levels of 5, 12, ±5, ±12 and ±15V for a wide choice. With many standard features such as 1000Vdc input/output isolation, 2:1 Input range and remote on/off control, the units are priced at $6.50 per unit for volume orders.

All new models are available in RoHS compliant version. Lead time is stock to 6 weeks ARO.
