Liebert Announces Npower Three-Phase UPS

April 04, 2001 by Jeff Shepard

Liebert Corp. (Columbus, OH) introduced the new Npower three-phase UPS, an uninterruptible power system with double-conversion technology suitable for use in data center and telecom environments where continuous availability is required even in the most demanding situations. The 30 to 130kVA Npower uses double-conversion technology for complete isolation from all incoming utility and generator-related power problems. It has all-digital, DSP-based controls, and the option of having input and bypass isolation transformers included in the standard UPS cabinet.

“Today's business processes cannot be interrupted, especially those that rely on digital platforms such as e-business. A UPS that offers 24/7 uptime is an integral part in achieving continuous availability," commented Robert Bauer, president for Liebert Corp. Americas. “Npower provides unmatched reliability with the highest-rated design technology for today's non-stop business environment."
