Lanhai Electronics Debuts CL233X Film Capacitors

Changzhou Lanhai Electronics Co. Ltd. (China) introduced its new CL233X film capacitors, which are able to withstand up to 1.6 times their rated voltage for 5 seconds and are widely used in dc and HF pulse circuits.

Available with dimensions of 7.1mm x 6.3mm x 2.5mm to 7.1mm x 11mm x 6mm, the capacitors are constructed with a polyester film dielectric, plastic case and flame-retardant epoxy resin. The devices are available with capacitance values ranging from 1nF to 1µF (50V, 63V and 100V), 1nF to 0.47µF (160V and 250V) and 1nF to 47nF (400V) with a tolerance of ±5 percent or ±10 percent.

At 1kHz, the dissipation factor is at most 0.007 if the capacitance is 1µF. The insulation resistance is at least 30 gigaohms if the capacitance is 0.33µF. The operating temperature range is -55°C to +100°C.
