Lambda Intros PA and PM Series

Lambda Electronics Inc. (Melville, NY) introduced a new family of dc/dc power supplies targeting on-board distributed power applications in the telecommunications industry. The PA Series consists of single output dc/dc converters with 48V inputs that are particularly suited for central office applications. The 2.28 x 2.4 x 0.5 power supply features remote sense and remote on/off features and is claimed to provides 16 percent more output current on a 3V unit than similar competitor models. The power supply has earned worldwide safety approvals, as well as ETSI/Bellcore approvals. The PM Series is available in single, dual and triple outputs with 12V, 24V and 48V inputs. The series offers 96 models in 10W, 20W and 30W packages with worldwide safety agency approvals and telecom compliance. Remote on/off and output adjustment features are available and all models provide short circuit protection. The PA150 Series is priced at $75 in quantities of 1,000; the PM10 Series is prices at $22 in quantities of 1,000; and the PP3 Series lists for $18 in quantities of 1,000.
