Lambda Electronics Announces New H Series Linear Power Supplies

February 20, 2000 by Jeff Shepard

Lambda Electronics Inc. (Melville, NY) announced that its low-cost H Series linear power supplies provide low noise and excellent line and load regulation where stable output voltages are required. The H Series provides line regulation of +/-0.05 percent for 10-percent line changes, and load regulation of +/-0.05 percent for 50-percent load changes.

The device is available in output voltages of 5V to 28V and power levels from 15W to 115W, and comes in 20 single-, dual- and triple-output models. Voltage taps are field-selectable for 100Vac, 120Vac, 220Vac and 240Vac and are intended to allow equipment to operate effectively worldwide. Over-current protection is provided in foldback with automatic recovery and over-voltage protection on the 5V models and is set at 6.2V to +/-0.4V. The operating temperature range for the H Series is 0 degree to +50 degrees C, with a derating of three percent per degree C above 50 degrees C up to 70 degrees C. Pricing for the H Series starts at $34.50 each.
