John G. Rice Assumes Position on Plug Power's Board of Directors

Plug Power Inc. (Latham, NY) announced that John G. Rice will assume the position previously held by Robert L. Nardelli on Plug Power's board of directors, effective July 17, 2000. Rice was appointed executive vice president and COO of GE Power Systems in June. "In addition to his duties as COO, Mr. Rice has assumed responsibility for the business development activities of GE Power Systems, including strategic product development relationships. His nomination to the Plug board underscores the significance of this relationship to our overall business development activities," said Robert Nardelli, president and CEO of GE Power Systems.
