IXYS Corp. Reports Third Quarter Revenues

IXYS Corp. (Santa Clara, CA) reported what it claims is its eleventh consecutive quarter of record revenues and sixteenth consecutive quarter of increased revenues. For the third quarter ended December 31, 2000, revenues were $29.2 million. This represents a 49 percent increase from the quarter of fiscal 1999.

Net income for the quarter ended December 31, 2000, increased to $3,388,000, compared to a net income of $1,789,000 in the prior year quarter, and increase of 89.4 percent. Gross profit increased to $11.2 million, or 38.4 percent of net sales. This compares with gross profit of $6.9 million, or 35.4 percent of net sales, for the third quarter of 1999.
