IR Intros the IR2153 Self-Oscillating Half-Bridge Controller IC

International Rectifier (IR, El Segundo, CA) offers the IR2153, an enhanced third generation version of its first generation (IR2155) and second generation (IR2151) 600V self-oscillating half-bridge controller IC products. The product family integrates a 555 type oscillator circuit with the 600V half-bridge gate driver to drive two output FETs or IGBTs.
Eight part types are available in the new third generation product family, housed in 8-pin DIP or SOIC packages. Prices start at $0.65 in quantities of 100,000.
