International Power Sources Releases IH Series of DC/DC Converters

International Power Sources (Holliston, MA) has released the new IH Series, a line of miniature board-mount dc/dc converters. These converters supply 2W in seven-pin SIP and 14-pin DIP packages. Input-to-output isolation is 1,000Vdc, with 3,000Vdc isolation available as an option.

The IH Series includes 12 models with dual-output voltages of ±5Vdc, ±9Vdc, ±12Vdc and ±15Vdc with 5 percent accuracy. Input voltages for the series are 5V, 12V or 24V, ±10 percent. Typical efficiency is 75 percent. The operating temperature spans a range of -40 degrees to 71 degrees C without derating. No external components are required for full operation.

Applications for the new IH Series include portable instruments, mobile equipment, local area networks and telecom systems in electrically noisy environments where high isolation is required. OEM quantity price for the IH Series is less than $9 each. Prototype quantities are available from stock.
