ICE Components Inc. (Manassas, VA) announced its new GT01 Series of gate drive transformers, which are suitable for high-density dc/dc converters where space is a premium. Designed for operation from 500kHz to 1MHz, the GT01 Series is well suited for high-frequency, high-efficiency designs.
Currently there are 14 parts in production available in three E-T ratings of 10V-µ:s, 15V-µ:s and 22.5V-µ:s. Turn ratios of 1:1, 1:2, 1:1:1:, 1:2:2 and 1:3:3 provides the flexibility to drive MOSFETs from most control circuits. The transformer has an extended temperature range of –40°C to +130°C and features a flat top for pick-and-place applications. The device can withstand a 500V hi-pot and has an inductance range from 50µH to 100µH.
