Hypertronics Intros New HDL High-Density Connectors

Hypertronics Corp. (Hudson, MA) introduced its new HDL high-density connectors, which are interchangeable with existing ZIF connectors and feature the Hypertac socket, providing a self-cleaning, wiping action and a minimum of 100,000 mating cycles. The HDL connector is suitable for rack and panel, cable and programming, aerospace testing, medical equipment, and industrial test/burn-in applications.

The HDL connectors are available in 60, 96 156 way contact sizes, and come with a back shell incorporating a universal cable clamp and half-turn, quick-mate device. Other features include low insertion and extraction forces, polarisation, cable gland/strain relief, low contact resistance, high current ratings, and immunity to shock and vibration.
