Hundreds of Exhibits and Presentations at PCIM Europe Experienced by Over 12,000 Visitors

In its 41st year, PCIM Europe 2019, the leading international exhibition and conference for power electronics and its applications once again closed with an outstanding result.

The application-oriented event, which took place May 7-9 in Nurenburg, Germany featured 515 exhibitors with 54% from abroad. The exhibitors showed the latest product innovations, develops, and trends for all applications of power electronics in an exhibition area of 25,000 square meters.

An array over 12,000 of visitors got to see both the depth and breadth of the latest developments, products and inovations showcased by and presented by the 515 exhibitors at the event.

"PCIM Europe 2019 was not only a successful fair, it even exceeded our expectations," said Toshimitsu Suzuki, President at ROHM Semiconductor Europe. "We have already seen an increasing interest in our power devices in the past years, but this time the amount of visitors and the number of meetings were much higher than our forecast. What a great show with new product announcements, motivated staff and many interested customers - existing and potential. I'm already looking forward to the PCIM 2020."

The visitors, praised the high level of specialization in exhibits and presentations as well as the international vibe of the event.

Some 804 international delegates appreciated the program comprising 300 initial publications on current research and development topics, upon each topic up to 5 lectures took place in parallel. The event included over 300 presentations including conference presentations, tutorials, and workshops, as well as over 100 forum presentations.

One of this year's most popular innovations was the opportunity to ask the speakers topical questions in real-time with a web-based tool. This web-based tool enabled smooth and anonymous communication, which participants appreciated.
