HIPAC Semi to Present Two Papers at PPDC 2005

HIPAC Semiconductor Inc. (San Jose, CA), a developer of integrated power solutions for battery-powered applications, announced that Director of Engineering Dr. Javad Mahdavi and Dr. Ali Emadi, will present at Darnell Group Inc.'s (Corona, CA) 2005 Portable Power Developer’s Conference (PPDC 2005) at the Hyatt Hotel in San Jose, CA, April 18-20, 2005.

In the first paper, "Integrated Power Electronics Converters," the concept of the integrated topologies is introduced and applied to switching power supplies in order to achieve very high efficiency and compactness as well as low cost. The second paper, "Digital vs. Analog Control of Switching Power Supplies," aims at comprehensive comparative assessment of digital and analog control methods from both analytical and practical points of view.
