Gowanda Unveils New SMP 5057 Series Inductors

Gowanda Electronics (Gowanda, NY) introduced a new series of surface-mount inductors designed for use in power applications where high current-handling capability and surface-mount packaging are required. The new SMP 5057 Series inductors are targeted for use in dc/dc converters and switching regulated power supplies, as well as in distributed power, test and measurement, automotive, and industrial process control applications.

The SMP 5057 inductors feature an inductance from 3.9 ±20 percent µH (at 1kHz) to 100,000 ±10 percent µH (at 100kHz), current ratings from 9.75dcA to 0.090dcA and a saturation current from 24.0dcA to 0.146. Gowanda Electronics also offers custom designs in the SMP 5057 Series in order to meet the specific requirements of an application.
