July 22, 2002 by Jeff Shepard

Golden Field Co. Ltd. (Dongguan, China) announced its new Sea Elephant Series of PC switching power supplies, designed for use in Pentium 4 systems, which include 315W and 350W models, and meet the ATX 2.03 standard, as well as the UL, CSA, CE, TÜV and CCEE specifications.

The new devices are encased in a posh-plated shell with seven plugs, including a four-pin 12V plug, four American standard power sockets, and a 110V or 230V input selection. It also has window-shutter-style ventilation to prevent dust accumulation. The Sea Elephant also has a double ball bearing and a 9cm cooling fan that outputs 25dB of noise.
