Generation Electronics (Lowell, MA) is offering custom-engineered battery packs that can be designed to fit into small or oddly shaped spaces, meet specific physical and environmental criteria, or compensate for underestimated power requirements.

General Custom Battery Packs are manufactured using branded products and are engineered to match OEM design, including space constraints, performance criteria such as run-time or capacity, discharge rates and currents, temperature, and other factors. Packaging can include plastic cases with snap-in installation.

Featuring nickel-cadmium, nickel-metal hydride, lithium-ion, sealed lead-acid and all primary chemistries, Generation Custom Battery Packs can be piggy-backed onto PC boards with special brackets, and incorporate various types of connectors. Depending upon application, they can be made to withstand up to 50,000 Gs of shock-resistance and high temperature.

Generation Custom Battery Packs are priced according to configuration, chemistry and quantity, with 5,000 minimum units per year.
