GaN Enables Small & Fast USB Wall-Mount Chargers

Aukey has announced the development of three ultra-fast GaN-based wall chargers: a 27-Watt USB-C model (PA-Y19), a 30-Watt USB-C model (PA-Y21) and a 24-Watt charger with two USB outputs (PA-U50) These power supplies are designed using GaNFast™ devices from Navitas Semiconducctor.

These chargers offer a choice of conventional USB outputs, PA-U50, or USB Power Delivery 3.0, PA-Y19 and PA-Y21. And they are available with U.S. or European mains plugs.

The single-port PA-Y19 and PA-Y21 can quickly charge your Xs / iPhone Xs Max / iPhone XR, Google Pixel 2/2 XL, Macbook / Air, Nintendo Switch or any other USB-compatible device. C compatible with Power Delivery. The dual-port PA-U50 can keep your USB devices charged with 4.8A / 5V total current.

All three chargers include built-in protections that will protect your device against overcurrent, overheating and overcharging. The U.S. versions also feature a foldable plug so you can easily slip it in a bag. Handy for home, office, and vacations. All three chargers come with a 24-month warranty.
