Faratronic Presents CBB12 Series Film Capacitors

Xiamen Faratronic Co. Ltd. (China) announced its new CBB12 Series of polypropylene film capacitors, which can withstand twice their rated voltage and are suited for high-frequency, high-current applications such as TV receiver circuits.

Available in sizes ranging from 10mm x 9mm x 5mm to 32mm x 28mm x 18.5mm, the capacitors have voltage ratings between 100V to 630V. Capacitance values include 1nF to 0.68µF (100V, 160V or 200V), 1nF to 0.47µF (250V), 1nF to 0.39µF (400V) or 1nF to 0.1µF (630V). Tolerance levels are ±2, ±5 or ±10 percent. The dissipation factor is 0.001 maximum, while the insulation resistance is at least 50 gigaohms. The capacitors are rated for operation over a temperature range of -40 to +70 degrees C.
