Fairchild Offers New FDS6572A /FDS6574A MOSFETs

July 09, 2002 by Jeff Shepard

Fairchild Semiconductor International (San Jose, CA) introduced the FDS6572A and FDS6574A, n-channel, 20V MOSFETs targeted at low-voltage, dc/dc converter applications. The new devices are designed to replace 30V parts in point-of-load power supplies and other low-voltage power-management applications.

The FDS6572A and FDS6574A feature a low RDS(on), a low threshold voltage of -0.6V for the FDS6574A and 0.8V for the FDS6572A, and a best in class RDS(on) performance with the FDS6574A specified at 9 milliohms at 1.8V and both parts specified at just 6 milliohms at 4.5V.

The SO-8-packaged devices are now available. Pricing for the FDS6572A and FDS6574A is $1.10 in 1,000-piece quantities. Delivery is eight weeks ARO.
