David Leal, a power industry professional with many years of experience, has been selected as the new Director of North American Sales for Eltek Valere. In his new position, Leal will oversee the entire sales force and network of value added resellers in North America. He reports to Allen Pitts, Eltek Valere President for the Americas.

Prior to joining Eltek Valere, Leal held the position of Director of Engineering, Power Systems for Power-One Inc. In this position, he directed a 70-person strong global engineering workforce with international sales throughout Asia, Europe, Middle East, Africa and North America. During his seven years of employment with the company, he also worked in a number of different engineering and marketing positions in North America. Earlier in his career, Leal served as a Product & Engineering Manager with Invensys Energy Solutions Ltd. in Australia.
