August 18, 2002 by Jeff Shepard

EXELTECH Inc. (Fort Worth, TX), an electronics manufacturer specializing in power conversion products, announced that it has been recommended for certification to TL9000 Release 3 Quality Management Systems Standard with no non-conformances. EXELTECH will become one of less than 100 companies in the US to have achieved the standard, which is the telecommunications industry’s quality system standard.

"This achievement serves to formally recognize EXELTECH for the quality processes and products that have been a part of our company from its very inception," said CEO and Chief Engineer Barry Jason. "The data for most of our quality metrics has been tracked beginning with the sale of our first products."

Vice President and Marketing Director Kevin Parsons stated, "Certification to TL 9000 standards allows EXELTECH to immediately expand its role in providing innovative power conversion products to the worlds leading voice and data services providers, and embracing these daily disciplines will help us achieve our longer-term visions."

Utilizing advanced surface-mount technology and vapor-phase reflow soldering, EXELTECH’S automated manufacturing process allows for a wide range of inverter products from 125W to 60kW for domestic and international customers. Markets include telecommunications, backup power, alternative energy and industrial/commercial vehicles.
