Evercel Reports Two-Month Transitional Period Results

Evercel Inc. (Danbury, CT) reported results for the two-month transitional period ended December 31, 1999. Evercel posted revenues of $13,000 and a net loss of $1,320,000, or $0.23 per basic and diluted share, compared with no sales and a net loss of $358,000, or $0.13 per basic and diluted share. According to Evercel, the two-month period results reflect sales of sample products to potential customers and costs associated with that effort and increased staffing.
