August 09, 2006 by Jeff Shepard

Evader, Inc. announced that the first shipments of customer-ordered Evader electric motor scooters will be available in stores by August 15. Initially, four retail outlets will be receiving the scooters but many more are in the works. Within the next two weeks, customers can purchase the latest Evader Series 1000 scooters at Great Bay Motorcycles in North Hampton, New Hampshire, and at Full Throttle Motorsports in Lansing, Michigan. In addition, MC Electric Vehicles in Portland, Oregon, and MC Electric in Seattle, Washington, will have Evader scooters for sale. More details will be available on the company's website.

"This is the news we have been waiting for," said Ken Kelley, Evader's CEO. "We receive countless inquiries every day and now folks can begin enjoying the best outdoor ride around."

Jim Johnson, President of MC Electric: "The timing is perfect for us. We have been aware of Evader's products for some time, and we are excited and proud to be the first to carry them in the Northwest. As a matter of fact, I have one myself and ride it back and forth between home and work, and I love it."
