EPC to Present GaN Vision at APEC 2019

EPC will attend APEC 2019 in Anaheim, California, March 17-21 at booth #953. The company will also make several presentations at the event. CEO Alex Ludlow is among the company representatives that will present at the event.

Gallium nitride (GaN)-on-silicon low-voltage power devices have enabled numerous new applications since its first commercial availability in 2010. New markets, such as light detection and ranging (LiDAR), envelope tracking, and wireless power have arisen due to the superior switching speed of GaN.

These new applications have helped develop a reliable supply chain, lowered production costs, and produced an enviable reliability record.

Now, applications such as dc-dc converters, ac-dc converters, and automotive are transitioning to the smaller, faster, less expensive, and more reliable GaN technology.
