Dynaservo Intros Fics-PDS/3 Step Motor Control System

Dynaservo Inc. (Markham, ON) introduced its new Fics-PDS/3 fully integrated, motion control system that is comprised of a motion controller, three-axes step motor driver, 16DI/16DO, and easy-to-use motion control software in one convenient package. The system offers economical and reliable application solutions for manufacturers and users of semiconductors processing equipment.

Programming of the Fics-PDS/3 is accomplished with the Fics-III (BASIC-like) robot language, featuring multi-tasking, linear arcs, circular interpolation, palletizing, and up to 500 micro-step drive and high-precision PTP. The device was designed with an emphasis on motion control applications encountered in assembly, dispensing, soldering and inspection robotic systems.
