DTE Energy Technologies Enters Into Distribution Agreements

DTE Energy Technologies, an unregulated subsidiary of DTE Energy Co. (Farmington Hills, MI), has entered into two distribution agreements. First, DTE signed an agreement with Pratt & Whitney Canada Corp. (Canada) and The Turbo Genset Co. Ltd. (United Kingdom) for the development of a 400kW turbine generator. This agreement is founded upon the Memorandum of Understanding for development of the mini turbo-generator system, which was announced March 13, 2000.The turbine generator, model ENT 4000, is targeted for distributed generation applications for small- to medium-sized commercial customers and micro-grids serving both residential and commercial development projects. The second agreement was made with Kohler Co. (Kohler, WI) to distribute Kohler's standby electric generators.
