Douglas Battery Unveils Additions to Safeguard Premium Series of Standby Systems
June 11, 2000 by Jeff Shepard
Douglas Battery's (Winston-Salem, NC) Standby Systems division has unveiled three additions to its Safeguard Premium Series. The three new modular standby systems will offer 1,200Ah, 1,400Ah and 1,600Ah capacity.
The new systems, which were revealed at Supercomm 2000, are designed as solutions for telecom, UPS and standby power system needs. Douglas Battery Standby Systems produces the Safeguard Premium Series with Swiss partner Oerlikon. The product's heavy-duty post construction and triple barrier seal gives it one of the longest life expectancies in the modular standby market.
