Catalytica Inc. (Mountain View, CA) announced that Dennis Riebe has joined Catalytica Energy Systems Inc. as its CFO. Riebe joins the company with over 34 years experience in the gas turbine and aircraft industries. Riebe spent 10 years at Allied-Signal Engines, which has since merged with Honeywell, where he served as CFO. His experience also includes over 22 years with the Garrett Corporation, where he was corporate controller.
Riebe graduated from Purdue University with a degree in industrial management, and completed graduate studies in business administration at Arizona State University.
"Dennis' comprehensive experience and wealth of industry knowledge will serve us well as Catalytica Energy Systems spins out as a new public company later this year," stated Craig Kitchen, president and CEO of Catalytica Energy Systems.
