Delta Intros IPM24S Integrated POL Power Module
Delta Electronics Inc. (Taipei, Taiwan) introduced its new IPM24S non-isolated, fully integrated, cost-effective point-of-load (POL) power module into its Delphi Series of board-mounted dc-dc power converters. The Delphi Series IPM24S family of product provides up to 3 A or 20 W of output current/power in an industry-standard, compact, IC-like, molded package with a very attractive price.
The IPM24S units are highly integrated POLs that need no external components to provide its POL function. The units operate from an 8 V to 36 V source and provide a wide range of output voltages in three separate series: the 1.2 V to 2.5 V 0A0 model, the 3.3 V to 6.5 V 0B0 model, and the 8 V to 15 V 0C0 model. The IPM24S are available in either a SMD or SIP package. The IC-like IPM24S units offer high efficiency of up to 91% at full load.
Samples of the Delphi Series IPM24S converters are available. In OEM quantities of 1,000 pieces, pricing is $5.85. Standard lead time is from stock to eight weeks, depending on the volume.
