Panasonic has introduced the TDC Series to their POSCAP Conductive Polymer Tantalum Solid Capacitor product line. The New POSCAP TDC Series are rated for up to 25Vdc and are suited for environments requiring extreme high temperature combined with high endurance up to 1,000 hours.

The New POSCAP TDC Series can withstand 125°C for 1,000 hours with a wide variation of capacitance (15- to 150-μF).  With its high reliability within tough applications, the TDC Series is designed for use in server, base station and industrial applications

POSCAP capacitors utilize sintered tantalum as an anode system and highly conductive polymer created with Panasonic's unique method as a cathode system.  This enabled POSCAP capacitors to be thin, small and at the same time have low ESR and superior high frequency characteristics.

These features make POSCAP one of the best candidates for digital / high frequency applications.  POSCAP products also have high reliability and heat resistance.
