Clayton Christensen Joins American Superconductor's BOD

American Superconductor Corp. (Westborough, MA) has elected Clayton M. Christensen as the ninth member of its board of directors. Christensen, a professor at Harvard Business School since 1992, is renowned for his seminal work on disruptive technologies and how they can be utilized to drive corporate growth.

Christensen's research and teaching interests center on the management of technological innovation, developing organizational capabilities and finding new markets for new technologies. He advises many of the world's leading corporations concerning their management of technological innovation.
