Chuang Jia Electronic Science and Technology Co. Ltd. (China) introduced its new MFB NTC thermistor, which features a glass-sealed, double-head sink construction and operates from -50 to +300 degrees C, making it suitable for use in temperature measurement and control of household appliances, as well as industrial and medical equipment applications.
Rated at 250mW, the thermistor is available in zero-power resistance values from 102 ohms to 106 ohms with ±1, ±2, ±3, ±5 and ±10 percent tolerance levels. The B value ranges from 2 kiloohms to 5 megohms with a tolerance level up to ±3 percent. The component offers a dissipation constant of >2mW per degree C (still air) and a thermal time constant of <20s.
