Central Semi Debuts CMXZ2V4TO Series Zener Diodes
Central Semiconductor Corp. (Hauppauge, NY) announced its new CMXZ2V4TO Series of triple-isolated, voltage regulator, zener diodes, arranged in an alternating configuration and packaged in a surface-mount SOT-26 case, which are designed for use in industrial, commercial, entertainment and computer applications. Zener voltages in the series range from 2.4 V to 47 V.
The CMXZ2V4TO Series replaces the need for three individual devices, saving circuit board space and assembly cost. The SOT-26 utilizes approximately 54% less board space than three individual SOD-123 devices. The CMXZ2V4TO Series zener diodes are available bulk-packed, or 3,000 pieces on 7 in tape and reel. Prices start at $0.16 each for 3,000 pieces on a 7 in reel. Sample devices are available upon request.
